About Us

Tools4Work helps to prepare secondary school students for the workplace and for careers in industry.

We provide a comprehensive range of pre-moderated learning and assessment resources that enable students to attain unit standard credits towards Level 1 and Level 2 industry qualifications.

Tools4Work resources are designed for use in classrooms, school workshops and industry by secondary school teachers and students, and Gateway co-ordinators.

We also provide

• moderation services for schools

• professional development services for teachers and Gateway coordinators

• information on how students can get on job work experience and continue their studies through a Gateway industry placement, and

Tools4Work is part of the Competenz Industry Training Organisation (ITO) which develops and manages industry qualifications, defines training standards and career path requirements for industry, and provides support for industry training, assessment and moderation processes.
